The color gray, which symbolizes the combination of colors at two extremes like black and white and the middle ground, actually represents the ordinariness and a normal life like that of many people. Generally, we see white as representing goodness and purity, and black as representing evil and pessimism. The color gray, which is the combination of these two colors, represents being in the middle, that is, emotionlessness. The reason for not reflecting the emotions of anger and happiness, which are at the two extremes of emotions, on the canvas in my works is also this. The reason for adding a colorful finishing touch in the works is that people often hesitate to express their emotions and feelings (whether good or bad). Behind the gray and expressionless works, various emotions are hidden, and these colors are the emotions that people have concealed in their expressionlessness. "Colors speak every language."
